Who am I
I'm a statistician who joined the pharmaceutical industry 13 years ago, after graduating from the University of Leicester with a Master's in Medical Statistics.
I spent the first part of my career at various contract research organisations, working as a statistician who loved to program. Three years ago I moved into biotech as a Director of Biometrics, where I took on data management alongside statistics and programming.
What this blog is
Firstly, this blog is itself a visual representation of what AI can do if you have an idea.
This year I submitted an abstract to the PHUSE EU Connect conference. It wasn't accepted, but I still think the ideas are worth sharing, so this blog is where I'll present them.
Beyond that, it's a place for my thoughts on AI and where our industry is heading: what's changing in statistics, programming and data management, what I've tried myself, and what I think it means for the people doing the work.
Who it's for
- Statisticians and programmers in the industry who are curious about AI.
- In particular, anyone attending PHUSE EU Connect this year.
- Anyone with a general interest in AI and what it can do.
